SOCIAL VIDEO
Trending Audio, clips, and video formats
Wildgrid had also established a practice of producing short videos using trending ‘sounds’ or clips that their overwhelmingly Gen Z- and Millennial-aged audience would resonate with.
Following this strategy, I created several engaging clips that were posted across their active consumer channels: Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
Informational Videos
Another content stream that I managed at Wildgrid was their more classic style of social videos that covered everything from climate policy news to home electrification advice to energy justice and more.
I created a posting strategy for the team to help clarify the content buckets it would be most impactful for Wildgrid to cover; using those strategic guidelines, I identified the video topics, conducted research, scripted the videos, worked in collaboration with a wonderful content producer to edit the scripts and outline the filming plan, and published the videos.
Corporate culture video
A company’s social media presence usually isn’t all product-focused all the time. Showing the humans behind the mission has a place in most social strategies, too. This is an example of a time when I helped socialize that corporate culture story.
It started with a blog post our team published. To bring the message to life, I had an idea to collect testimonials from folks on what it was like to work in climate tech. I assembled a few questions, sent out a company-wide Slack, evaluated the input, contacted folks who responded to see if they’d be willing to record voice-overs of their answers, and mocked up a video storyboard for our designer.
